The Farrington’s conceptual venue design work includes the multi-use, state-of-the-art, theatre in the round, Copacabana Entertainment Complex, housing the interactive award-winning “Copacabana Dinner Show.” and “Club Rio”.
Additionally, Farrington was the design consultant for the multi-use convention and concert venue at the Borgata Hotel, Atlantic City, and recently co-designed the new “Thunderland” showroom at Excalibur Las Vegas
Copacabana Dinner Show. The upscale award-winning show is an interactive dining & entertainment experience supported by multi-media wrap-around video walls, interactive live camera and theatre in the round with hydraulic elevators and lighting grid. A live Ricky Ricardo-inspired band plays Samba’s and toe-tapping Brazilian rhythms. Broadway-level vocalists and dancers bring excitement and intensity to this Carmen Miranda – Retro Hollywood influenced production. The excitement continues to build throughout the two-hour event as a three- course epicurean delight is delivered within production by singing waiters. The production sizzles as the entire audience is on their feet and joins the cast for a conga line and dance party that carries them around the room and back to their seat for a high-energy night club finish.
